Role Overview:
At ETM Group, being a Bar Manager is a key leadership role within our premium hospitality environments. You’re not just running a bar — you’re shaping the guest experience, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional drinks that reflect our premium positioning and EPIC values.
Across our ETM Collection venues — from rooftop bars to refined dining spaces — our Bar Managers play a vital role in bringing each concept to life. Whether delivering expertly crafted cocktails, curating premium drinks lists, or driving vibrant bar atmospheres, you ensure every guest interaction is memorable and delivered with precision.
Working closely with your General Manager and senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the bar operation, from team development and service standards to stock control and commercial performance. This is a hands-on role where you will lead from the front, inspire your team, and consistently deliver excellence in both product and service.

The Ideal Candidate Will Present:
• Proven Experience: You have experience as a Bar Manager or in a senior bar leadership role within a premium or high-quality environment.
• Leadership Skills: You are a confident and inspiring leader, with a passion for developing and motivating your team.
• Product Knowledge: You have a strong understanding of cocktails, wines, spirits, and current beverage trends.
• Guest-centred Approach: You are focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences with attention to detail and consistency.
• Commercial Awareness: You understand key drivers such as stock control, GP management, and revenue performance.
• Operational Excellence: You can manage a busy bar operation, ensuring smooth service and high standards at all times.
• Problem-Solving Ability: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage challenges during service.
• Hands-On Leadership: You lead from the floor, setting the tone for service and supporting your team to deliver their best.

About ETM Group
It all started with a love of great hospitality.
After studying Law, Tom found himself living above a gastro pub and quickly fell in love with the energy, atmosphere and sense of community that great pubs can create. Inspired by the concept, he bought his first pub with a business partner in 2000 and transformed it into a gastro pub.
Meanwhile, Ed was building his own career after studying Finance in Bristol. When he joined Tom, the business began to take shape and together, they set out to create something special.
What started as a small, family-run business grew steadily year after year. As our ambition grew, so did our portfolio, with the opening of venues including The Botanist in Sloane Square, one of our first larger, food-led concepts.
We continued to grow, opening new venues while staying true to the entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on approach that had been there from the very beginning. A major turning point came in 2015 with the opening of Greenwood, which doubled the size of our team and marked an exciting new chapter for the business. We also began working with prestigious partners including Royal London House and The Montcalm, expanding our reach and creating even more ambitious hospitality experiences.
By 2024, it was clear that our growing business had evolved into two distinct hospitality offerings. To better reflect who we are and where we were going, we created ETM Collection and ETM Sport London.
Today, we are proud to continue growing while holding on to the passion, ambition and entrepreneurial spirit that started it all. From a single gastro pub to a diverse portfolio of venues, our story has always been driven by great people, and we are always looking for more talented people to become part of what comes next.
